Emerging Leaders March '10 Breakfast
Prashant Joshi, of the Gurukul Yoga Holistic Center, inspired participants with the Simple Principles of Life Management– he calls them – 101s of Life Management & Leadership. Attendees learned background on the Gurukul institute and yoga in general and how to lead a better, more happy life with simple things such as taking time to consciously breathe three times a day and laugh at least once a day.

Prashant Joshi M.A., M.Phil, ERYT is a computer scientist and electrical engineer by training and is an IT Industry management professional for the past 24+ years. He also has formal training in Yoga Therapy from India and the US and is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists(IAYT) and is Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher(ERYT) by Yoga Alliance. He has been a Yoga practitioner for over 25 years and Yoga Teacher for over 18 years in NY, NJ area.

He is the co-founder, CEO of Gurukul Yoga Holistic Center (GYHC), A Science of Living Institution in Bridgewater, NJ (GYHC is a Gurukul, LLC – minority and woman-owned institution) serving all ages with Yoga and other holistic therapeutic learning services to bring harmony, health, and happiness. GYHC is now a supporting Member Institution recognized by IAYT (#12 in the world). He has introduced Yoga-principles in the academic and corporate world at all levels of leadership and management. He has also introduced Yoga for Sportspersons and Youth with a focus on building better sportspersons and leaders of the future.

He along with his wife, Manju Joshi, M.A. Diploma in Fitness and Nutrition, ERYT, Co-founder, COO and Research Director of GYHC, who is also a published author, are invited guests for speaking engagements on holistic living in various forums in corporations, schools, libraries, and conferences focused on holistic living for all ages. Both are life members of Patanjali Yog Peeth, India and many community organizations. Prashant and Manju Joshi live in Bridgewater, NJ with their two daughters Veda and Illa.
